What we did
Censornet was already WordPress as their content management system for their corporate site so it made sense to use WordPress for this system as well. We used much of the out-of-the-box functionality such as user registration and approval, user roles and permissions and custom post types and fields to create a flexible and easy to use portal for the client to provide materials. We also used Gravity Forms to integrate with Censornet’s CRM system in order to manage lead registrations from partners.
There was a lot of material that had to be organised so we categorised the content by type and provided some fast filtering options which allowed partners to quickly get to the content they needed. We also created an area for specific campaigns where all the materials for particular campaign could be found in one place. We were able to have a single copy of each piece of collateral but have it appear in multiple places in the portal which ensured ease of finding for the user and ease of maintenance for the admin.
We used the existing website styling to ensure that the portal was clearly a Censornet asset. The end result is a professional looking service for Censornet’s valued partners and a significant time-save for Censornet themselves.
